How to see fps in Elite when using OR?

The regular in-game display doesn't seem to work with Oculus. I'm using Oculus in Extended Mode, running currently as secondary display.

Any help?

i use fraps, put the FPS in the corner, and just take it off my head and remove a lens to take a look at it in the different areas (station, deep space, etc)

It will not show in the secondary screen for streaming pursposes.

Some GPU software like MSI afterburner will also plot a graph of FPS on the selected program you are using too, can use that as well.

use afterburner and riva tuner and set the coordinates to 300 x 300 to display the fps but if you are using DSR the display will be barely big enough to read

definitely wouldn't recommend removing the lens since once you get a hair or dust in there its difficult to remove

Hah, I had it at 200x200 earlier, which left it outside of my field of view. Now I see it!

...and after turning everything down I have 75fps on my laptop. Win! Have some rep.

Also using fraps you can start a log of your fps with a key press i think f11 is the default key. So start fraps jump in game hit whatever key you set it to be fly around go to station and other fps killing areas then hit key again and now you will have a log of your fps for the whole time you were playing that you can open with notepad for example.

Rivatuner lets you choose the font size iirc!

If you do a preview view with Open Broadcast System then use the in game fps display, ctrl+f, you can see your frame rate on the OBS display. Same would apply to others which display in the corner of the screen I guess.
