How to start Elite in VR mode

I'm sure this is a stupid question...

I've just got a Revert G2, have it working with steam VR and windows mixed reality.
However I can't see how to start Elite and enable VR?
It just starts on the monitor as normal and I can't see how to tell it to use the VR headset.

Any help for this VR noob?

I'm using the frontier supplied launcher BTW.
