Newcomer / Intro how to switch client language?

is there a way to switch client language to english (mine is german). switching the launcher was easy but where to find the language setting of game?

Alternatively you can select the language directly from the ED Launcher.
On the top right corner of the window you see "Options" (when logged off) or your email address (when logged in). Click on that and choose "Select Language...".

Don't forget to restart the ED Launcher afterwards.

That's strange then. I could change both launcher and client language from German to English that way.

But I found it's really essential to close and restart the launcher afterwards, otherwise it will have no effect.

Doesn't work for me.
In the xml file, English is already specified. However, I get roughly 80% German with 20% English mixed in during the game.

What can I do to have English? (I don't like Translations, mostly they are incomprehensible)

This is not working.
The game seems to be using the OS language as it's own.
Although my custom.misc file is set to english, I'm running a french version of Windows 7, thus the game's writings are in french.

I'd like to be able to play the game in english without having to change my Windows language.

Please discard my previous message, I tried changing the launcher language to english, the game is now in english too.
