How to target the Colonization Beacon Deployment location

Im sitting at the Colonization Beacon Location, not in Supercruise, @ 25m distance and I cannot (T) target the location so i cannot deploy the beacon, please help, thanks.

Answering my own question:
..Set a fire group for SC-SUITE
..Supercuise to deployment area.
..Exit supercruise
..(T) target deployment area.
..deploy hardpoints (not sure if this is necessary or not but I did)
.. press and HOLD the fire button till it launches (about 8 - 12 seconds) you will seen a green line fill up
where it says SC-SUITE on your targeting reticule (similar to the place you see how many heatsinks you have).
..wait for confirmation of deployment.
