I'd like to assign a hotkey to turn off custom set modules; is this possible somhow?. For example I'd like to disable all modules, except the sensors, the life navigation, or the trusters etc. Right now I can only seem to turn modules off by selecting them individually, which is inefficient and slow.

You could probably set up a macro using some third part software. Could get you into trouble of the layout of menus changes however.
Short of using something like Voice Attack which is legal that will do it for you, no. This is something they SHOULD have.
If you are like me and have a Hotas with all the buttons/switches you should be able to toggle things on/off. Also to add to it, they do need to add in a request docking shortcut as well. Little things that would make life easier.

I don't think it's possible to do that at this moment. But +1 for the suggestion

Unfortunately I don't have a joystick, but it's on the shopping list
Agree also about a docking shortcut; there's no need to force people using convoluted menus and panels when a shortcut would be easier.
