Hello my fellow CMDR's!
First, let me say, I'm close to addiction for E
. I spend hours & hours in this game. Being a freelancer working from home... it's very much fun to mine-grind during the day, with very low impact on my work [cool]
Anyhow, I'm not here to brag...
Lemme tell my E history (I'm gonna skip the 1984 version, and won't bother you all with my privateer/ wing-commander nostalgia, but it probably shows that I share the same passion as everyone here ;-)
I'm on my 3rd CMDR since release...
CMDR 1 was... meh... a 2-year try-out
CMDR 2 was very successful, but crashed his un-inshured Beluga right next to the air-lock
CMDR 3 is doing quite well - mining himself up the highway...
As a generalist (there is not one aspect I hate, I like to do all roles... except trading tends to get me bored every now and then) I feel that I have reached the glass ceiling. Not content-wise, nono... there is still a ton to do for me (heck, have to grind engi all over again now) but I"m soooooo tired of einzelgänging through this game.
To cut a long story short... I really would like to up my social experience... alas, I do not know where to start.
Are there guilds? Clans? I know there are CG's, but I didn't participated in them yet... I do like the idea of the Colonia stuff!!! But it's sad to go out there to be... uh... just... *sings* aaaaall by myseeeelf!
Also, I DO PLAY A LOT, but due to family/freelance obligations, I cannot schedule game time on a very regular basis (and I mean a WoW-have-to-raid-5-times-a-week-basis)
Enough babbling... just want to play social. Tired of greeting a space station full of CMDR's with zero response (maybe they don't know about /r) *shrugs*
