Newcomer / Intro How to use analog sticks?

I just have bought joystick, but it appears to work digitally: half of move is rolling at full capacity. Stick IS ANALOG, i checked it with windows tool. How to make it work that way in ED?

Bind the stick axes to control axes - do not bind control directions to stick axes (this results in the digital behaviour you describe).

Robert is spot on, I had exactly the same issue you are describing when I first moved to a HOTAS and it was as he described to do with the bindings.
