How to use "Eigene Filter"? (Is it "Own filters" in English?)

I do not really understand, how this "own filters" setting works. (Is the name correct in the English game? In German it's called "Eigene Filter").

I expected to be able to save my personal preferred filter combinations.
But how do I do this?
Or can I create my own tags and filter for them? If so ... how?

Maybe a seasoned Planet Coaster adept can answer this?

Yes, "eigene Filter" is translated into "own filter" when switching your game to english. Mine was german as well, I switched to english because it's easier to follow building tutorials.

You can indeed give pieces your own tags. Never worked with own filters yet, though, sorry.
