Hi commanders,
I have been PvE testing a reverb cascade mines build without much success.
The goal is to use them offensively to take down the shield of my target the same way as with torpedos (which I can do very successfully).
What I have tried so far:
Are there better hardpoint placements for mines, maybe? On the CObra 5, the two small hardpoints are on top of the ship close to the cockpit.
Any specific timing that could work while jousting at the target?
BTW, the Security ships were very good at hitting the mines that I was spamming all over the place...I wish they could teach pirates how to do the same... :'-)

What I have tried so far:
- Position myself in front of the target, then release the mines => no success, 0% hit.
- Ram into my target at a perpendicular, release => a few mines do connect to my target and damage its shield, some connect to my ship and do not damage the target's shield.
- Fly backward after getting the target aggro, release => I believe this may work if the target tries to catch up to me, but zero success so far.
