Newcomer / Intro How to use repair kit.

As per title. I made sure I bought the repair kit before going out exploring. I now just realized I have no idea how to use it. Funny I know.

Right now I am ok all modules above 95%. But do not want to ask this when it is too late.

I don't use one, so i don't know for sure. But righthandpanel, last tab, at the bottom there is a 'repair/reboot' function. When i used it on my ships it only rebooted the systems i believe, so perhaps with a repairkit it will first attempt to repair the broken modules?

Or crazy as it sounds, maybe it's an assignable firegroup? Like SCB or Chaff?

Go to the modules tab on the right. Choose the middle you want to repair such as fsd, then select it like how you disable them. A new option called repair exists.

The item goes offline while being repaired, so allways do your repairs in normal space, or you will get an emergency stop causing even more damage.

Keep the afrm turned off when not in use to help keep your temp down

Yep, listen to Dommarraa. Been there done that - ended up with even more damage. Wise words.
