I’m trying to win an election for a faction in legacy. The system is in a very remote location, it’s so far away from the nearest system that there are no data or transport missions. Basically, the only missions available are donation, mining and passenger. As far as I know, none of those will effect an election. The faction I am supporting does not own any assets and there is no black market at the station. What options do I have?

I would expect all three to - they're non-combat mission types, so most theories say they should count for elections.
I had to win elections out in the Coalsack nebula as I was messing around out there with some BGS last year (and even earlier in 2023 in the California nebula thanks to some lore stuff), and there were no particular election-related missions available. It worked through completing donations and delivery missions (and passenger runs in case of Cali), so I'd say they are reasonably accurate. No universal cartographics or anything involved because I had to win for the station's non-controlling faction [in Coalsack].
