Newcomer / Intro How/where to buy limpets?

I decided to try the hatch breaker module out.

I realize that limpet ammo is found on the munitions screen, but the interface is not helpful as to how to actually select and purchase.

I have the module installed and grouped. In the munitions screen, I can only select the inactive "resupply all for 0CR" button. I see "limpets" below that, with a 120CR unit cost, and cargo space is listed as 0/4 (it's empty), but nothing is selectable.

Are they just not available at the 5 or so stations I've tried? How do I find where they are being sold?

OK, so maybe I have some wack keybindings? This would make sense if the limpets are always available.

Is it possible that the stations I'm visiting don't have them in stock (kind of like how the market shows all commodities, even though not all are available to buy)? Do all stations that have munitions also have limpets, kind of like they all sell fuel?

To my experience, you can get Limpets everywhere. It's a very manual process as you don't automatically
re-stock through 'Reload'. Munitions -> Limpet Control -> left/right like you would sell/buy commodities.
If that's not working, I dunno... your cargo hold is empty, I take it?

Sorry for the threadbump but I've just gotten back into Elite after years away. I struggled with finding and stocking limpets also; the correct menu screen to stock up on limpets is Ship Services > Advanced Maintenance > Restock, then on the right of the screen you will see the option to purchase Limpets. Hope this helps someone else!

look in advanced maintenance, you will see a line for limpits in there as long as you have some type of limpit controller installed
It is in there because they are classed as ammo and this is where you fill up on them.
And you can do so at any station that is able to re-supply ammo. - this refers to the fact that some outposts do not have re-supply which is visible in system map by selecting stations, you will see re-supply, refuel, repair - of these, not all are always available at outposts
