Right? I had the idea for this already before the video for my first sandbox. The realistic part of it is, that you will not always have animals that would be good to breed. So you need to whom to breed and whom not. The growth of the zoo would be much more natural like that, I think.

Alternatively they may be great to breed but have all sorts of problems having been mistreated previously and will take ages to get to want to breed???

Good points. Since we will have illnesses in full game, some might even be ill and therefore need treatment. In sandbox this does not really matter, but in franchise and challenge mode, the additional costs could level up the difficulties, if you are up for more challenge.

Yes, me too. while I could never work with prmade maps or sketches or even recreate real live zoos, I am always stunned to see how otheres can do such things.
I always have to start with an empty map and start from point zero, like drawing on an empty sheet of paper.
