How's this stack up?

Been doing quite a bit of engineering lately and so I wondered exactly how much engineering I've done.
And then I wondered how much engineering everybody else does.

Is that a lot?
Not a lot?

How many ship do you have Stealthie? 40-ish?

Uhuh.

Was wondering, would I be right in thinking the game's only been tracking this since the Codex was implemented?

It's just that, when you think about it, 4,500-odd G5 upgrades is probably about right for the ships I have.
4,500 upgrades at 10 rolls per completed mod' is 450 mod's.
450 mod's on 40 ships equates to around 11 G5 modules per ship, which sounds about right - Stuff like Weapons, FSD, PDIst and Shield all G5 immediately, things like sensors, limpets and life-support get G4 immediately and then upgraded to G5 when I have the mat's and then there's all the stuff like cargo racks, fuel scoops, hangars and Guardian tat which don't get any mod's.

Thing is, I've now only got something like 5 legacy modules. Every other mod' on every ship I own has been done under the new system.
There's 2 years worth of legacy mod's which I've now either converted or binned (and I used to have a lot more than 40 ships) so I might have expected the amount of G5 mod's to be higher if it's counting since I started playing.

In the original engeneers you only had to do 3 g5 rolls to get a good roll usualy and you didnt have to do all the lower tier stuff wver once you had reached g5 so it would probably bee a much smaller number of rolls unless you were going for god rolls?

Stealthie's Elite's 1%.

He's got 1000s of ships for everything.
"This is my G1 mat gathering Asp X, here's my G2 mat gathering Krait II, here's my sub-surface mining T10 and my Fissue mining Cobra Mk.IV....."

And that's just the opening convo before the first pints are sitting on the bar. Then he always "misplaces" his wallet....
