Hardware & Technical HP p7-1534: Expected performance & Recommendations for "Elite: Dangerous"

My current desktop computer is a (currently) stock HP Pavilion p7-1534.

Processor: AMD A8-5500 quad-core
Memory: 8 GB, DDR3-1600
Graphics: Radeon HD 7560D (integrated into processor)
OS: Windows 8.1

What level of performance can I actually expect when/while attempting to run Elite: Dangerous?

The specs and information at Game Debate (assuming I'm reading their graphs correctly) seem to indicate that my desktop should be able to run the game at a fairly high level, but I'm curious as to whether anyone has some more-direct, hands-on experience with the same system (or one of similar caliber)...?

It depends on your resolution. It'll struggle to maintain a good framerate (at least on higher settings) at 1920x1080 but at lower resolution and settings it should be mostly fine for 30 fps.

It'll be playable - if you find yourself able to play other (fairly modern) games then Elite will be fine too. If you find you need more performance then you can slot in a discrete graphics card like the 250X or 750/750 Ti (the 750's are faster but more expensive), without needing to upgrade your power supply.
