Anyone remotely concerned that we are only a few weeks from the alleged preorder date for the HTC vive and absolutely no details have been released. At least with the oculus rift we knew everything it was coming with and even preorder game bonuses except the price. I am thinking the preorder date is going to be delayed again on the Vive. another HTC lie brewing...

MWC (Mobile World Congress) takes place next week. At last years event HTC announced the Vive. It's possible that they are waiting until then for a big reveal.

I reckon lie is a bit strong... however I am fully expecting yet another launch date to be missed, or at the very least it only be a paper launch with incredibly limited numbers at the start.
I hope to be wrong however
I kept my DK2 for a reason...
No matter how one cuts it, it will be fall (Q3) by the time the dust settles and HMDs become widely available. Been waiting for the last 4 years so a few more months won't hurt things.
