Page 21/22 is the reason why I'm not allowed by my better half to get one. :D

"Sorry dear but before I play need you to help me clear the room"
"What?"
"Well I need the space so I can run about and stuff"
"What about me?"
"Well we can put your PC downstairs for now"
"Would you sign this bit of paper first, soon to be Ex-husband..."

I have little time in front of the PC as it is, I have a wife who I play games with very often or at least interact with while we both play the games we like...

VR in my house is a non starter.

Wouldn't need a whole room for a sitting experience.

VR is also aimed at the social aspects, especially Vive supporting multiple headsets with those base stations. So easy solution to explain to her: preorder two... ;)

Oh and +1 for the OP- an interesting read nevertheless!

When the missus finds out what I spent on just one Vive, she'll be on a flight to New York City for a weekend shopping spree with a few of her girlfriends. She'll spend more than that on things best she would describe as "cute" and "adorable."

On one of those trips, she had her credit card stolen. I didn't report it, as the thief is charging less than her every month.

Choose this option if you only want to experience VR in a seated or standing position.

you can use it in a seated position, that is what I will do, don't have space for a walkaround game setup either.
