I would like to see an option to toggle the HUD center "dot" rather than have it attached to the HeadLock feature as described in this short YouTube video ...

I find the dot useful in normal travel mode as do many others. It helps me aim my ship while traveling and is especially helpful during docking maneuvers. A simple "HUD Center Dot" toggle in the Options, Controls menu would be a nice feature.
