HUD concept

Listen I just came up a really cool concept and our goes like this
Automated HUD mode switches
Normal mode: used in super cruise and normal space
HUD display: hide pips management and override player's pips control to 2/4/0 in normal space and 4/2/0 in super cruise. Add destination HUD guide lines just like fighter docking on jump destination.
Combat mode: active upon hard points deployment
HUD display: change HUD color to red, add firing, targeting on turrets, display system damages on bottom right your ship. Like If your engine is damaged make the engine part red.
 
I’d like it but what’s this about overriding my pip control? I’ve been wanting more dynamic ship interfaces from the start. I will admit though that FD did an amazing job on making the current hud very practical.
 
Sure, that would be nice, but I'd really like to have proper custom HUD colors, before we start complicating things.
 
Why would I want the game to override my pip settings? I like to be able to set them while in supercruise before entering an RES, signal source or when I'm anticipating an interdiction.
 
If you want different HUD modes fine. But defiantly not automatic switching of modes and especially not pip settings. For example if i deploy my hard point to do a bit of mining i don't want my HUD to change to a combat mode.
