As we all know, Frontier managed to combine rather simple interface with realistically scaled systems with newtonian physics. As a result, sometimes player controls proved to be inadequate for certain tasks.
Therefore the system could use some improvements:
1. Vector sight and directional crosshair visible in all internal view modes (useful when braking with main thruster).
2. Secondary vector sight pointing in the direction opposite to current velocity vector
3. Toggleable 90 degrees line visualizing plane perpendicular to the current velocity vector (useful in certain maneuvers, like trying to enter the orbit around some celestial object)
4. Graphically depicted relative velocity vectors for nearby ships and objects.
Anyone has other propositions?
Edit:
Braking, not breaking...
*slaps forehead*
