HUD overlays for Target and potential collision object

I was wondering if it would not be possible to provide overlays for the actual target/ attacker and objects that are not visible but on a trajectory for collision.

When flying with my friends in wing we often collide when going for the same target. Also collisions with very dark asteroids in the shadow of a planetary ring occour frequently.
Of course there is the radar panel, but while aiming at an enemy I do not have one eye on the radar and the other on the target.

I would like to have soemthing like this:

*red arrow for the current target
*pitch circle for objects on an potetial collision trajectory

would some of you like to have something, too or is that too arcardish for you folks?

Red arrow discussed previously - It's not meant to be a game of "chase the arrow" so was basically discounted as an idea by FD

if you are on a collision course your hud flashes at you
 
I would like an actual indication of the direction of an imminent collision. Modern cars have it, why wouldn't a spaceship? I don't mind not having "red arrows" though - the radar is fine for determining the direction of a single target.

I'd actually like a more "alive" feeling HUD in combat. I'm not even sure myself what I mean by that, but hey.

The problem is that I'm also hoping each ship (or at least manufacturer) will eventually have unique HUDs, so the more complex this HUD gets, the less chance of that in the future.

the flashing is not really telling me anything good, it does not tell me from which direction the other guy is going to hit me to steer against.
the arrow would just make it easier not to "chase the arrow" in the radar, so nice to have
