Hudson as a power

Hudson is facing hard times... Its actualy getting sad how badly this power is getting picked on... with seemingly Few players to back him up, Having so many systems to keep safe. And having the entire Galaxy against him. How much longer is he going to last? Last Week he wasnt in the best of shape. Now He is literaly Crippled.

Speculation on what will happen next

(please do not turn this into a Empire bias thread. I simply want to talk about and wonder about what happens next)

i think i remember some gal news about his second in command, my guess is that if Hudson keeps failing there will be some public confidential vote and he will be voted off,
then his second in command might rise into power (or someone else) instead and give the feds some new ethos and bonuses that are better suited to hold that middle location.

Well, if he will keep sending unshielded sidewinders with harmless pilots to interdict me.... I'll keep demonstrating that they are harmless.

As a Hudson Federal aligned pilot through and through I've even had thoughts of defection, not that I wanted to or even decided where to defect to however. The Federal powers don't feel established or powerful enough for what they are. My understanding is that the Feds and Imperials have been the major powers at each others throats, either meeting in a stalemate or mutually beneficial agreement that was temporary. Federals were there first then a group split off to become the Empire and since then they've been conflicting but both powerful in their own right. Its either the Powerplay thus far has been very imbalanced or FD have had a path written for the powers all along which negates the entire point of player interaction in the first place, at least that's how it feels right now.
