Huemul

I propose the appearance in the Huemul game, or southern Andean deer. It is an endangered mammal belonging to the Cervidae´s family that lives in the Andes of Chile and Argentina.

Unfortunately, at present, there is a global population of less than 1,500 individuals.

How is this species doing in captivity?

I don't think there are any of these in captivity, at least I couldn't find any recent information about this species. So I would prefer some other species of deer, and there are a lot of them beeing kept successfully in human care.

as a zookeeper i would love to take care of endangered species in order to help those species, problem is from what i know is, capturing animals from the wild legally is tricky progress paperwise, especially with endangered species there are even more strict rules, when i worked in a butterfly garden, the owner really wanted a certain species of butterfly but since its an endangered species, export of that species wasn't allowed.
