There is a bigger price gap between a Beluga and Anaconda (~84million to ~146 million) that needs to be filled.
In another thread I put my vote in for a dedicated explorer ship with a big jump range (stock), several low end optional slots for scanners and other goodies (like AFMDs, limpets, etc.) but for a trade-off only a few (2 + 2) class 1 and 2 hard points for mine launchers or mining lasers. It would also have to have an awesome view from the bridge and have at least one crew (preferably two) and a module slot big enough for a SRV hanger and a big fuel scoop.
