Huge Hardpoints in action analysis/DPS

It looks like the Pulse lasers are a solid choice. In the second video he was able to shred the shields of a Cutter with just 2 pips to weapons before draining his capacitor. The Pulse while having slightly less DPS than the beams can fire nearly twice as long.

We will beable to increase the weapon capacitors by nearly 30% also. Im hoping we will beable to reduce heat compensation as well by a percentage making the Beam lasers a more viable option in Pvp. I would like to see a 15/15% to both capacitor and heat reduction.

I for one will be running 2 huge Pulse lasers with all multicannons. We will beable to add incendiary rounds which in return will add a thermal buff so you will deal much more damage to shields. (Corvette)[video]https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Qp1_nSo_j9U[/video]

Bigger kinetic weapons tickles me. I prefer to place lasers on smaller hard points as there is no damage loss for shields. I am excited big time for large and huge multicannons. Hope they work better than cannons. Cannons are fun by not as reliable as a multi at longer ranges.
 
I know it's abit off topic but I'm looking forward to seeing the buffed missiles in action, they need to be made useful again just hope the Fdevs don't go OTT

I kinda hope they go OTT to be honest, lol. I miss the old days of missiles being useful!

Thing is, you don't want a tactical nuke, just a reasonable amount of damage, and also a viable tactic to avoid them.
Something like missiles that are accurate and fast, but make wide turns so some skillful boost turns could avoid them, and if you're really good you could pull a red oktober!

Look at chaos wolfs vid about huge pulses and beams posted today. beams just melt power plants like a hot knife through a cat on a hot tin roof, So two huge beams then mutli Cannon doom on a vette looks like all type of broken fun

I really don't think running two huge beam lasers will be practical, especially for pvp. Just way to much power draw and heat. I would love for this to work and hope you will beable to increase other modules enough to do so.

Now if you ran one huge beam and one huge multicannon. The would be beast as well..
