Note: I'm a very happy Rift+Touch owner, but I couldn't resist the low $200 bundled price tag and placed an order for the Lenovo model (I found better reviews for it vs the Acer)

So do these competely replace your vision (like the Oculus), or can you still see around you, and they can render stuff ontop of that? ie: So you could see your desk with something rendered onto it?

So these are just like Rift, Vive, and PSVR, except you don't need tracking cameras as they are built into the headsets.

Mar...Do Not Read This Thread...DOH! I read it and wouldn't you know it, order one.

Read a few reviews and sounds like it's an improvement visually in ED. Expected delivery on the Monday the 18th, sweet.

Thanks... So direct competition for Oculus and Rift then... So comes down to resolution, motion performance and controllers then....

If I remember correctly part of the 'Mixed Reality' naming convention is because it used Hololens as it's 'base' to build into VR, so Microsot won't have to work quite so hard to keep it going. (Hololens has been Windows 10 friendly for quite a while now)

As an owner of a wmr headset (HP), I hope to see some of your test on Elite soon.
Actually i'm confronted to some stutter/ judder problems, sometimes after 10 minutes, sometimes after an hour.once problems begins it's increase and i have to restart the game to have it smooth again. (Computer specs correct with an i7 4770 and a gtx 1070) i have played asseto corsa online during almost 2 hours and no problems
