Hardware & Technical Hugged with immersion - recommend montors?

I want the world of Elite to give me a big ol' hug with a triple monitor setup. My plan is to wall mount a set of 27" monitor in front of a custom made chair. I've done some homework, but I'm still a bit lost at sea due to the number of options. I think I know this.

3 x 27"-30" monitors
$250-$350?
low lag, but not necessarily insane low lag like 5ms.
Thin and thin bezels a plus.
VESA mounts needed.

I have a GTX970 with 3 DP out

Can anyone just shoot out a good recommendation?

May I suggest you look at thins thread: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=169966

I have the '87 version of the LG monitor pictured above, which is the business styled equivalent. It is wide, but nowhere near as wide as 3 monitors. Still, I find it gives an improved experience over a single regular monitor. My sample of the monitor has light leak in the upper corners so they're not as dark as they should be. It doesn't bother me but thought it worth a mention.

If you go 3 monitors with a 970, I'd suggest sticking to 1080p monitors as I doubt you'd be able to maintain decent fps at quality with 3 higher resolution monitors. I'd also suggest IPS panels, since they tend to have better viewing angles which can become more important as you go wider. The response time tends to be slower than other types, but I've not had any problems with gaming on them. Can't suggest a specific model though.

How would three curved monitors look? :p

I've been toying with the idea. But, then again, to go to so much trouble - might as well go for the Icarus setup from SimPit (as pictured above)

If you look up that monitor on youtube you will find some reviewer using 3 in a gaming rig... stuper-wide.
