Horizons Hull repair

Having just messed up a landing light years from the nearest staion it would be good to be able to repair the hull in the same way modules can be repaired. This would be great for explorers... or have I missed something!

No, unfortunately.
It's intentionally like that - the hull can only be repaired at the "dry dock". No number of nanites will fix a hole in the steel.

If everything was repairable, there would be no danger. This at least keeps you on the edge.

You will have to be much more careful from now on. You'll see that it may actually spice up your adventure! :)

(btw. how much hull do you have left?)

And also don't forget the excitement you get from not being able to auto-repair the Power Plant miles from anywhere.....
.

I guess hat makes sense... hence the name Elite Dangerous! I have 76% left on the hull but not even scratched the surface of the 'road trip' planned. I've decided to head back and repair then try again - about 1200 light years to home. Yup, will have to be more careful! My power plant is 96%, what the hull was at until the dog decided to help out - collies do not make good co-pilots :)

Awsum.
(though he talks about the canopy, instead of hull, but as we already can repair the canopy by AFMU, I guess it's a typo?)

I could have misheard. As above no promises since my memory from lavecon is a touch blurry from some non-alcoholic beverages o_O
But even if not that's one step closer, repair rats assemble! :)

Fuel monkeys! LOL :D

Actually that might be quite a branch. They could operate in two groups - Fuel rats and Hull monkeys.

It ties nicely to a classic "Grease monkey" title. :)
They might actually like it!
