Right now the bounties placed on my head as a human for unlawful combat seem rather out of whack. As far as I can tell it is:
~200Cr for absolutely anything against a single target, even leaving it dead in space with no engines and 1% hull having stolen all it's cargo.
~5000Cr for doing the killing blow.
Why is there no space between this? As a primarily PvP pirate, I find the bounty against me is trivially cheap to pay off at any station, as it's fairly rare I actually kill anybody. A 200Cr bounty costs 300Cr to nullify, so no problem really. IMO it should go:
~200Cr fine for hitting a single taget (this would also help people who accidently hit police when bounty farming)
~500Cr bounty for sustained fire against a target
~500Cr bounty for forced (not submitted) interdiction against an unwanted target.
~1000Cr bounty for hull damage against a target.
~2000Cr bounty for taking a target below 50% hull.
~5000Cr bounty for murder.
Bounties for damage against a target should have a cooldown on them, so multiple interdictions don't result in additional bounties.
Bounties (not fines) doubled against ships >=100t and < 300t hull mass.
Bounties (not fines) quadrupled against ships >=300t hull mass.
I'd like to add some bounties for stealing cargo, but I guess these are dealt with by the (rather poor) smuggling mechanics, and I can't think of a way to make them fair. Dumping cargo isn't a trigger, and there's nobody around to see you scoop.
