(Humor) Frontier Confirmed: Being an NPC AI Is A Valid Play Choice!

I play in solo mode.

I have no bounty on me, no cargo, and I'm interdicted at least once every system by an NPC ship, controlled by an AI.

The AI has no valid reason to attack me. The AI is doing it because it's programmed to to make gameplay unpredictable. It's just a soulless machine. I expect this, and take the appropriate precautions. I've only gotten shot down once, by a Python.

Now, in open play, there are human players who attack other players who have no bounties, no cargo, and who are not threatening them. There's a name for this kind of player, but I forget what it is... :)

So, when human players kill other human players, are they roleplaying soulless AI's? Hmmmmm.... perhaps the humans being attacked for no good reason could describe the attackers as such, with appropriate descriptions of just how clever their programming is. :)

I'll take the real AI, instead of the inferior human imitation of one, anytime. I'm staying in solo. And open will become a collection of inferior AI's. :)
