Humor: Request For Sarah: Unleash The AI's Full Potential!

There are a number of posters who feel that the AI's are too weak as adversaries. Also, some feel that the number of interdictions should be raised, to make gameplay more exciting.

You can fix this.

My suggestion is to give them both, until the release of 1.2. Increase both the skill level of the AI's, and increase the number of interdictions (or number of interdicting ships).

This would satisfy those who say that interdictions are the only fully implemented form of risk in the game. Those posters who feel that the game is not challenging enough should take about, oh, one to two days before completing their "evaluations" of this truly "dangerous" game environment. Create at least 2-4 NPC's to interdict any and every PC in any one instance. Have them re-spawn in any new instance the player enters, or when all NPC's are destroyed in the current instance.

This should give them the challenge the combat-oriented players desire. :)

I will downgrade to a stock Sidewinder during this period. Parked in a docking bay. And, I will be walking Grace, our Golden Retriever, instead of worrying about our under-served combat players. This should give them the therapy and closure they need.

I will return, once they have had their chance to truly demonstrate their skills.

Thanks!

I remember back in Beta 1, the Hermitage system. 12 purple planets, no registered inhabitants... no inhabitants my ----
I still remember the squad of 3 crack Sidewinders that humiliated my Cobra... good times!

I would totally want hostile NPC's travelling in groups back. Especially in anarchies.

Anarchy systems are getting closer to that all the time. Tonight, I was bounced just as I reached the 1 MegaMeter mark, and got the auto-disengage message. It was an Asp, vs my Lakon T6. Just barely managed to get away.

You may well see groups of NPC's, when the 1.2 version rolls out.
