I was about to tell you off for making a clickbait thread and then I saw that screenshot and I came over all wistful and nostalgic.
I was a Panther Clipper pilot in the '90s you know. Wet Wet Wet topped the charts for sixteen weeks running, a young Ant and Dec were playing P.J. and Duncan in Byker Grove, and... anyway, you get the the picture.

That already exists. Its called AJ's mod (IIRC), and there is another one I think as well.
If that is what you want, you can have it. No need keep hoping ED will become it. It was clear ED wasn't going to be just Frontier with pretty graphics since before release, its so much more.
