With all the threads on buff this and such I thought it might be a good idea to have one unified suggestion based on all the threads
Firstly Jump range:
Any ship with a hull mass over 100 tons should have it lowered to 100 ton
Then add a x2 multiplier to the jump range formula.
Thus anyone should be able to outfit their ship however they chose and still exceed 50 light years
Secondly Power
Rather than increasing PP sizes which increase cost and mass, the solution is to cut to power usage by all modules, weapons, utilities, internals and other components to 10%
Then no one will ever have to worry about power again.
Power Distributors
Multiply capacity and recharge rates by 5, thus never having to be limited by the PD when firing
Ammo
Unlimited, we dont want to have to stop farming credits to reload, it is unfair on those who play that way
This includes chaff Heat sinks and SCBs
Damage
All weapons now do Thermal-Kinetic so we don't have to chose between pulse lasers and MC beyond aesthetics
Hard-points
All ships hard points are increase in size by one, that should make a lot better than the "Old anaconda" which seems to be the benchmark
So Small to medium Medium to Large Large to Huge
Maneuverability
The Python needs to be As Maneuverable as the Eagle
The Anaconda needs to be buffed to match the New Python
The Corvette needs to be buffed to be be better than the Anaconda
The Cutter needs to be buffed to be be better than the Anaconda
Heck Eagle Maneuverability for all
Speed
All ships should be 400/500 normal/boost
So noone can run with impunity and no once can chase anyone, leading to perfect balance.
Heat, fuel
Removed so as to not disadvantage ships that run hot or have small fuel tanks or lack slots for big fuel scoops
NPCs
Must have a minimum bounty of 100,000 CR otherwise killing them might not net the Max CR/HR
Explode when Hit when without shields
Only Carry Painite which is left behind when they die as legal salvage
Never interdict PCs
Always Submit to PC interdictions
Are unarmed.
Missions
Have 1 year timers and and a minimum payment of 1 million credits.
No cargo missions any more, courier missions only so as not to disadvantage those without cargo racks.
Trading
All goods count as rare goods but the max price is reached at 2.5 light years from origin
