Hunter killer mission bugged?

I just accepted and finished this Hunter Killer mission, which was strangely an unarmed Orca which was Clean. But after killing the dude, nothing really happaned. I went back to the station i got the mission from, but couldn't turn it in, went to a different station, and couldn't turn it in either.

What do i do with this? Just abandon, or is there any specific location i need to go to for certain Hunter Killer missions?

The Orca you blew up was just someone telling you where to find the target...

Fly to V1581 Cygni and look around the USSes to find Khondar in his Anaconda.

Yeah...no. I spent four hours a week or so ago fighting the same glitch. 175k+ credit hunter mission, found the location, and spent those four hours killing about a dozen targets with the correct faction and name, all in Orcas. None of them counted.

It's definitely a bug OP, I'd just move on to another.
