Newcomer / Intro hunter mission issues?

hey, ive been trying to get few credits with hunter missions instead of hauling, thought it will eb more fun and equally profitable.
But it seems those missions are pain in the ***, or maby im doing something wrong, here are the steps:
1. obtain mission
2. go to the system mentioned in the "known locations"
3. i dont do intredictions so i farm USS's, in the very 1st ones i get the info about:
a) someone seeing my target in another system
b) proposition of quitting the mission
c) killing different target on behalf of my mission target
3. so what im doing then:
a) im goin to that system picking USS's trying to find my mission target in one of them
b) im still picking USS's in the same system trying to find my mission target in one of them
c) im still picking USS's in the same system trying to find my MAIN mission target in one of them
4. results are all the same: all i get inside any USS are literally spam of adders, alot of friendly ships that do nothing or random encounters like funeral ships, wedding barge etc. i can fly around for hours (which i already did) and not stuck upn even a single wanted ship! if i dont do any missions i can atleast farm them, with hunter mission in my mission tab i get 0 profit per hour whatsoever. even less taken the fuel wasted

It's a known bug on the list at this time:

- No leads to assasination target if mission overwritten by counteroffer

also there are just not enough wanted ships to make bounty hunting profitable at all. seems that the ratios have been modified making the chance of dropping on a pirate really low

Hmm, thats not good. How about hunting NPCs at nav points?

Don't do it through missions.

Admittedly, in a Vulture but I had comparable results in my Viper
(the 700k Alliance bounty is accumulated, though)
