I can take down the Anaconda reliably with the help of another AI bounty hunter (got a 110k bounty about 3 minutes ago with the help of one), so at least I have that going for me.

Shield cell banks ( I use 2 of C2 banks)
Use vertical thrust all of the time in combat - Keep the enemy pointing either up or down and vertical thrust in the opposite direction all of the time.
