"Gentlemen, I bring grave news and considerable warning.Alpha Centauri is the home to Hutton Truckers, one of FDev's favourite ingame player factions (due to high levels of 84'ers in their 639 member ranks).
Aside from running their normal community goals, posting "FOR THE MUG!" as an answer to anything and banging a big PR drum about every convoy they do, they are currently expanding out of Alpha Centauri with the intent of using the BGS spreading corporation governments to neighbouring systems.
Such a move in game terms, will lead to an increase in Fortification costs for yourselves as a power and in RP terms is leading to the annexation of Federal Systems next door to Sol back into Independent hands.
I cannot imagine such either issues sit will with any true Federalist who reads this and I implore you to spread the word to your comrades in arms and take the fight back to them, pushing them back into that godawful hole of an outpost they initially selected."

Not that I needed one, but I'm not about to turn down an opportunity to turn Zac Hudson shipping into a mass of melted flesh and scorched metal.

I expect better of you, Ben. The person who posted that is a brand new reddit user and not (to my knowledge) a Hudson player. As mentioned in the thread, Hudson needn't do anything unless the Truckers expand to several systems, and given how many other things they have to do, they'll probably prefer a diplomatic agreement to war.

This thread is just a silly attempt to stir the pot.

As someone who flies for Hudson, I don't believe it either. Most of our systems are Corporate gov type anyway due to being in Fedspace, we have almost no Patronage or Feudal (the two types that are favorable to us because... FDev :rolleyes:) because those are Imperial gov types, so it's not like we have to worry about those being overthrown. The only reason we'd have to be concerned about HT would be if they were a dictatorship, and they're not.

That Walshingham fellow clearly has no idea what he is talking about, and taking a look at the thread as a whole it seems that the Hudson community has taken efforts to educate him about the errors of his ways. There is nothing here for your faction, or ours for that matter, to be concerned about.

I am assuming the original poster in Reddit was upset because a Hutton Mug was unavailable for them? Maybe we need to make a Convoy and deliver some to them so they can cheer up ^,^
