Does this event require an RSVP? I know I already said I'd be down to go, but I have a DW2 friend coming to Austin during the meet for the formula one race. One of his buddies bailed so he gave the extra ticket to me.

There is a 50/50 chance I will not be able to make it, but in the event I do, is it okay if 3 of us just "walk in" for a beer or two? Or did you end up having to rent out the whole place for the day. You can shoot me a pm here if needed.

No RSVP needed. Feel free to walk in! The place opens at noon, and though our official start time is 1pm, I expect a few of us to be there a tad earlier. I'm expecting to hang out til 6pm.

I'll have two others with me, driving in from Houston that day. We'll be returning the same night. We will probably stop somewhere in Austin for a quick BBQ dinner and then skeedaddle on home.

Terry Black's is real good BBQ and close to the city, but you will likely have to stand in line for ages on a Saturday Night! But the lines are half the experience here anyway.

Was a fantastic evening. We ended up with 12 in Texas at the same time as 8 in the UK all partying. We had a video linkup briefly to say FORTHEMUG.
