Hybrid Pack idea

With the remaining Camp Cretaceous animals likely being split up between packs instead of coming in as a group of their own, here's my thoughts on how to make a Hybrid Pack.

The lead animal is the Sino-Spino/Spinoceratops. Jurassic World: Alive has a model of the adult animal, Frontier could easily borrow it and make some adjustments to fit Evolution 2. It can be the second Plants/Fish omnivore after Deinocheirus.

The return of the Dr. Wu hybrids from Evolution 1, who many people have been missing and wanting for a long time. It wouldn't be difficult to import them, either, the most involved work would be the new additional animations for social and other interactions.

Since having 3/4 of the pack being returning dinosaurs would be a little underwhelming for the price, let's make it 50/50 new species and returning species by adding the two hybrids we saw on the computer monitors in Jurassic World. The first being the Amargazinosaurus:

And the second being the Pachyspinax:

Six species, four canon species, three returning species, two brand-new species. A good investment, I believe.

Or, instead of the Amargazinosaurus and Pachyspinax, we can just go full crazy and bring in the Ultimasaurus.

I don't see us getting more than four in a pack, as per usual... and personally I could do without that ugly Ankylodocus and those hideous things from the Jurassic World monitors...

Part of me doubts we'd get both Spinoceratops and Stegoceratops in the same pack... and since Spinoceratops is definitely canon--as oppose to Stegoceratops being another monitor animal--I suspect we'd get Spinoceratops.

Wouldn't mind getting Spinoraptor back, although I'd love Carnoraptor too and, again, I don't see us getting both... Spinoraptor would likely be the easiest to work with and the more unique of the two however.

Getting the Ultimasaurus would be super epic... not sure it's actually doable--no clue how the licensing works with an original design by a defunct toy company--but I'd love seeing an official version of it.

Internally it seems to be a bit more like creating to a price point. Assuming the same price and given the recycled content, I could see either 5 species, lowering the price, Lux patterns, or maybe even an Ankylodocus variant/redesign.

As to dealing with Hasbro for Ultimasaurus, the name is labelled as a Trademark, and has not been in use for more than 20 years. Trademarks are apparently only valid for as long as they're in use, needing a submission of proof of active products at the 10th anniversary, so it seems the name is pretty safe to use without permission (though still poor etiquette not to ask).

The design is protected by copyright though, so they would have to make it significantly different from the toy, potentially even avoiding that colour scheme.

If the Ankylodocus does get a redesign, something like this would be nice. Emphasize its Ankylosaurus genes more, since aside from the head and tail club the Evolution design is 95% Diplodocus.

Seen that design before... it's alright... but now it looks 95% Ankylosaurus, complete with short legs and digitigrade feet that look completely incapable of supporting that weight.

A proper Ankylodocus would be like the original; a heavy Apatosaurus-like sauropod covered in dense armor from head to tail, and down each leg.

Agreed, make the legs completely sauropod and a little longer, and lengthen the neck by about 50%. The armor can also be toned down to be mainly the osteodern bumps like Euoplocephalus and the side spikes with the head and club remaining the same.
