Hydra, where can they found reliably?

All the NHSS 8's I'm dropping into Asterope and around are scouts and Medusa. I've also checked a couple of megaships, they don't seem to spawn interceptors at all now.

I've given up fighting RNG, any idea where should I be looking?

Thanks GroG79, I'm wanting a Hydra on it's own. I've already tried many NHSS 8's around Asterope and RNGesus isn't being kind.

I often find NHSS 9 on HR 1183 and HIP 17862... good luck on your Hydra hunting.

Thanks Koben but NHSS 9's that I've tried all have scouts too and I really need the Hydra on its own.

I found the ones with the Salvage icon tend to be interceptors, but yeah - a lot seem to be all Scouts at the moment.

There are still interceptors at the wrecked megaships - but they are RNG and I don't think I've seen Hydra - even Medusa are hard to get at m/s.

The salvage icons are usually a winner but only seeing them on 5, 6 and 7, not 8.
I guess I'll just have to keep trying, rng really sucks sometimes.

As an aside, I've been enjoying seeing you back in your many sharped rodent guise, the forum feels righterer again

Hydra's kind-of have retreated to the Witch Head Nebula. Getting them in NHSS's [Threat 8] around the Pleiades has become extremely rare.

I've certainly seen hydra in the Pleiades when checking the eagle eye targets - not sure i'd go as far as "reliable". If you head out to WH there's a couple of systems out there, might be worth checking.
