Hyperspace Dethrottle or Hyperspace Full Speed into the Sun

Anyone else have the problem of coming out of the jump, getting the blue Hyperspace Dethrottle message.....and watching the throttle NOT shut down but have the ship start flying into the sun instead??

First time was looking at Nav screen when realize ship was still moving. Almost lost Imp Clipper to inexperience getting out of situation. Shutting down game and restarting solves problem...but it comes back after a undetermined amount of jumps.

Anyone else getting this problem?

As you come out of the hyperspace jump you can see, while the star is expanding into view, where you are arriving in relation to it. You start moving to the closest edge (rotating to go directly above or below the star, since vertical movement is fastest) even before you have totally arrived, so that the controls kick in and you start going around the star immediately as you reach real space. Generally I can be facing beyond the star even as I start accelerating from the arrival and certainly before the fuel scoop kicks in.

Practice that, and you won't need dethrottle assistance.

I also fly manual throttle at jump settings, I don't use the auto throttle as it is a trap, if you are in supercruise you are always moving if you AFK or get distracted because you know the auto throttle will save you then you are going to find your ship crashed into a star which is really embarrassing if you do it at a speed of 30.

If you punch it just as you enter the system you can fly right through the star... just takes practice

The disadvantage of setting zero throttle, albeit a rare disadvantage, is that if you arrive at a close binary star, you might end up taking more damage because of the time to react and throttle up, whereas going in and starting accelerating immediately means getting away from the binary star quicker.

IMHO

I'm in the full throttle camp, but be ready for a hard banking turn when you drop in!
In my Clipper it works a treat, the T9 has a few tense moments though!
