Hyperspace jump time increased

Can somebody confirm that pure hyperspace jump time from system to system (without cooldown or loading time) is now 20 sec per jump? I'm not in the bubble and since yesterday I get a lag time experience of more than 5 sec added EVERY single jump which makes me sick!

I think it's somewhat normal that witchspace increases a bit when you're traveling outside of the Bubble, due to the Bubble being more frequently traveled than the rest of the galaxy.
 
Witch space is a loading screen.
The more to load the slower it can be, if many cmdrs are in system it can slow it down even more while your computer makes network connections to theirs

Sorry , this is not normal and new and really annoying if you have to travel long distances. I mean the pure time in hyperspace. Even to systems with only one star the time is increased.

You sometimes get slow jumps and it seems like it is if they need to do server retries. Better than getting an error message & dumped out, shouldn't be all the time 🤷‍♀️

I mean not sometimes, every single jump. An error message tells me servers are lagging but every jump looks like a new nerf for explorers.
I have rank 5 with Li Yong-Rui in powerplay and maybe they nerfed that recently.

To be honest I have not noticed any issues with PS5 or PC but, I am in the bubble. I can't understand why there would be more network traffic in the black with less CMDRs almost certainly in those systems.
 
Yes general increased times have happened before, because:
Witch space is a loading screen.
and anything which impacts that increases the jump time.

This can be loading assets from your drive: SSD vs HDD, or if your drive is getting full (check space).
Number of players in the instance jumping too and from: as it has to make each connection (Fuel Rats would go to solo for long range rescues to speed things up 5-10s makes a big difference when going 2000 jumps).
Coding changes: FDev have cocked things up in the past, and a patch made jumps longer (and shorter when fixed).
Server issues: as they handle stuff.
Network issues: the base speed of passing all those 1's and 0's (could be other family members gobbling wifi, or neighbours watching say a big soccer game online and overloading local network contention).
and so on...

If it's widely reported its something their end, something only happening to the OP then it may be their end (full HDD/SSD or networking).

I can say nothing changed on my end, my ps4 disc is only full to the half.
Let's hope it's only temporarily.
 
I've noticed the jump seems to take longer since the Salvation CG, though it's not consistent.
At the extreme end I was wondering if I was getting hyperdicted (this was during the run with Guardian artifacts between Witch Head and Barnard's) though it's also been happening on some jumps in the Bubble (I'm currently working on the fringes of the Bubble) though not quite to the same extent and I haven't seen any cmdrs in these systems.
