Hyperspace Mapping

Is there some kind of limiter on the Route plotter? Trying to get from LFT1448 to 39 Tauri (120LY), but seem to hit a dead end, no matter how long i let the map load its routes, and no matter how many times i manually change the route slightly to try and get in at a different angle, the route plotter won't seem to get any closer than up into the 90LY's, It shouldn't be an issue with my ships FSD capability, given that i have a 16LY unladen jump range, and using a little math the next jump on the map should only be between 7 and 9 LY.

If it is just a case of there not being a hyperspace route between the planet the route lets me plot to, and the next one, then how the hell am i supposed to work out how to get anywhere at long distance if its making me look manually for hyperspace routes?

Please just tell me there's an approximate 100LY limit on the map lol.

Thank god, guess i should set off soon then i guess, just wish i could get back to my Viper easily without having to jump 120LY back lol

Yeah, fed up of watching Sidewinders spending 3 hours trying to land on a landing pad, and idiots flying in through larger station docking letterbox' on the wrong side and crashing into me.

Fly a Type 9 or an Anaconda. The Sideys make an endearing noise as they crash into you and explode when you're already committed to flying through the box and they think you're made of fog :p

But put a shield on it. I met a type 9 not so long ago and I did try to avoid the crash as he/she rushed out but I couldn't. My shields were almost untouched but it was bye bye type 9.

In a type 6 at the mo, a little downtrodden at the prospect of grinding for a Type 9 when i only make just under 100k profit per station run, given that it would mean more round trips than there are days in the year. I mean my route isn't completely optimal, but i don't think 5 jumps with both stations being 300ly from the sun with 890 profit one way and 800 profit the other is bad. It's just the next ship upgrade is so far away it makes me cry (27 round trips away from a type 7, but that would leave me with 0 Credits and a ship that is unfitted, with exactly the same number of cargo space as my current ship)
