I absolutely hate how I cannot play this game because of current form.

I want to play the game. I really do. I want to play franchise mode.

But, I can't. The bugs are so enormous that I'm finding myself having to build my park specifically to work around bugs.

-I shouldn't have to build 30+ drinking shops in a 3 habitat park and STILL have guests complaining about being thirsty....even if they are standing right next to one
-I shouldn't have to force build all my picnic tables no more than 1 tile away from a food/drink shop because the guests won't use food court areas
-I shouldn't have 150 trash bins in a 3 habitat park and still have guests throwing trash on the ground despite being right next to a trash can
-I shouldn't be forced to build exhibits to start off a franchise to gain money via population in order to prep for the food bug explosion and refund explosion that will occur as soon as I build several habitats
-Employees shouldn't be walking right by their duties (not fixing broken items, cleaning up litter) and thus requiring me to pause the game and fix the issues myself
-I shouldn't be forced to play Caretaker Tycoon instead of Planet Zoo
-I shouldn't be forced to play Keeper Tycoon instead of Planet Zoo

I'm just exhausted.

I'm not able to build the zoo I want because I have to accommodate bugs to get a working zoo. Franchise is simply broken.

This is a very complex game a lot of stuff is not bugs its how you run your zoo I would suggest you hop over to You tube and watch some videos ]on zoo management believe me I know how you feel it took me 5 zoos before I finally learned its not bugs its how you manage your staff. Now my 5th zoo is doing great 4 habitats and I am almost up to one million.

I have a 124 hours into this game. I know what is bugs and what is not.

Having my mechanic whose only duty is to fix vandalism walking right by vandalized things is not a design problem on my part, it's a bug.
Having guests not use tables that are more than 1 tile away from a food place is not a design problem, it's a bug. Food courts in this game do not work.
Having guests not use trash cans that are right next to them is not a design problem, it's a bug.
Being forced to place fountains in a habitat because swimming animals can die of thirst is not a design problem, it's a bug.

Agree with you about the food/drinks/vendors.

I actually stopped putting any food/drink stands in my zoos, as then there's no need for food vendors, bins or caretakers and I don't end up with litter spread everywhere. Sadly, I assume thats only viable with a small zoo (I tend to have 4-6 enclosures around a courtyard). I want to run a zoo to focus on the animals, not guests constantly whining about food and drinks.

Honestly, if you have a small zoo just do a backup save and try removing all the food/drink stands/vendors. No bins, no vendors, no caretakers, no litter - lovely. Sure the guests still whine about food/drink, but they do that anyway (and they won't be annoyed about queues or littering). I do keep a few information stands or shops as those don't allow the guests to litter. Overall my guests still stay in the green and the zoo makes money (I do keep a lot of donation bin exhibits though).

I do the same. You make more profit without the vendors. And there is no litter and haven't seen a vandal yet :)

I still get vandals, but I've got to the stage where I just don't care about the guests anymore. I'll fix up the benches when I see them and leave the rest to the mechanics.

Almost the best zoo I have ever had :)

I can't get the stink out of the wild dogs, but that is because they should be 3 males with 1 alpha female. They have changed it, but not good I think.

Sorry but there ARE bugs, I have 300 hours and my current zoo has 350 animals, 27 habitats and over 100 staff. The difference is that as an experience player, I know how to fix / work round these bugs. I have just had my keeper suddenly refuse to feed my tigers, for no reason. Luckily i noticed it, worked out it was a bug pretty quickly and am now doing all the things i know i have to do to try and fix it.
