While being in a lawful system and engaging a wanted NPC with a companion (that starts attacking as you attack the other). Makes both ship turn up as enemies, though only one of them appears as wanted to you (if you didn't scan the other). Which turns out to be a pain when having turrets on your ship.
Having the turrets on "free fire", and it will very likely ramp up your bounty before scanning the target. The problem persists when having the turrets on "fire at my target", since targeting the un-scanned enemy will make them fire immediately.
So I end up retracting and deploying my weapons constantly because of it. And because doing something as little as hitting the enemy ONCE turns the whole damn security force against you because you have a bounty of 100, I therefore have to go land all the time for the stupid reason of having my weapons deployed when targeting something.
Death sentence is also a direct consequence of misfiring at a security vessel while in a fight against a pirate.
PLEASE I BEG YOU! Rethink some of your AI for the Security Force and turrets!
