Sorry but you ask for alot of dev time for a thing that will add nearly 0 mech itself.
I'd rather have less bug and consistency among mission , with some QoL for feature that already are in the game.
It is just personal opinion tho.

If it's fully featured and functional, like the 'plane models in Flight Sim, maybe. That'll never happen though

OP, I do care what it takes. I don't want Frontier to spend time making ship interiors until it comes with interesting ship interior game play. If interesting game play doesn't come with a feature, Frontier shouldn't do it!
