Not only does this game look amazing but it sounds amazing also. Love the engine sounds going on in the video and other general sounds. I can't wait for this game it's torture without it heh...

Also there is gravity!
If you fly close you get sucked in, its a constant battle against thrusters to not collide with it.

I tried to outdo jack and go in one of the trenches, but booooom.

I was going to ask whether they implemented a bit of gravity considering its mass, but thought noooo they would consider that overkill for the effort.

Very impressive. These kinds of details add to the game's quality.

Some more ideas which can add more life to the station;

- Occasional station drones or spacesuits doing maintenance on the stations interior/exterior.

- Some of those station window lights occasionally turning off/on.

Fantastic video, thank you.

Amazing graphics and detailing on the station. I can't help but wonder what Imperial stations might look like ...

Jack that's the best flying I've seen yet. What kit are you using?

Also not sure if the mass of the station would be enough to give a really tangible gravitational pull? Is it just that the surfaces are always rotating towards you?

Keyboard and mouse with TrackIR.

There is no gravitational pull from outside the station. Only from the inside when you are rotating with it (thus the inertia simulates gravity).

The first part of the video just has me sitting motionless (but rotating) with the station moving beneath me. Some parts of the station are higher than others relative to the position of my ship.

Felt like there was to me. I constantly has to thrust up to avoid collision, even whilst compensating for station's turning. It might have been optical illusion though. If I ever get back in I will try it again.
