I am in process of installing ED from the oculus store

I will then uninstall my frontier version so that I can use the oculus desktop features.

Can anyone tell me if the binds file is in the same location or will I have to manually copy the frontier version over to the new install? If so where does it go?

Thanks

Pretty sure that the binds files are stored in your Windows User folders somewhere, as I have changed from the standalone Frontier installer to the Steam version and now to the Oculus version and each installed itself to different locations, yet my binds all stayed the same, even though I deleted the outdated games folder.

I have standalone and my binds are here:

C:\Users\*username*\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings

Can you check where your logs are stored please?
If you use any of the player made apps, many read your log files. Might want to keep them.
I'm at work and can't check.

All three versions (standalone, Steam & Oculus) store the log files in the same spot.

Be aware, there is a file Oculus uses that my AV flags after almost every update.

I will then uninstall my frontier version so that I can use the oculus desktop features.

Can anyone tell me if the binds file is in the same location or will I have to manually copy the frontier version over to the new install? If so where does it go?

Thanks

Did this earlier in the week myself, it picked up everything binds, UI colour and settings with the added bonus that you'll get a lot more Oculus home gifts for spending time in the rift :D
