I am loving the simulation

So I learned the hard way just how accurate the simulation reflects life.

I have been plodding along my chosen career path as a black ops agent and information courier. I have gotten pretty good at getting in and out of stations undetected. I've been making some decent credits doing this and enjoying the "job".

I decided I wanted to support the Alliance and so found myself a little corner where I have been working away at getting my reputation up. I got to allied status with my chosen local faction but had yet to see general Alliance rep go above neutral. This all went sour with one little mistake. 12 tons of illegal intelligence documents and a bad run at the letterbox saw me busted down to unfriendly Alliance-wide and down to neutral with my local faction. That hurt.

I have since easily gotten back to allied with the locals but it will be a much bigger task convincing the Alliance in general that I am not a security risk or just a common criminal. Just like in life those black stains of a criminal record don't wash out easily.

So despite the pain I am impressed with the real risks involved in breaking the law in the ED universe. I will also learn that rushing a smuggling operation into a friendly station is never a good idea.

Google "Isinona manouver" for better luck next time :). Also, docking at small outpost is safe with the illegal cargo: no security ships to scan you there.
