I am not a tester - I am a paid client of ED:O....

It is only my personal opinion of the following:

ED:O was released as a beta and has become difficult to continue with simple gameplay that seems more like alpha, all this without doing boots-on-the-ground content. I paid for this DLC and I am NOT satisfied. I am not an employee of FDEV so I should not have to report all the bugs associated with the new DLC that game testers should have done prior to launch. I have been around MMORPG games at launch far too many times to expect bugs and patches, but this is ridiculous... AND at the end of your "roadmap" in June, your focus will be PS/Xbox so all the reporting makes me a tester for them?!

FDEV, I am not your tester and I refuse to log in to ED:O. Let us hope ED:H remains untouched for now so that I can enjoy ED as it was.

Excuse the anger, but I had to say something before I damage my VR set.

welcome to the world of the "cash cow"

most game devs these days seem to think it acceptable to release games then patch and fix until theyre kind of close to what they advertised, No mans sky, cyber punk to name a few i know of, im sure theres plenty more.. as long as people are willing to pre-purchasing games, pay to play alpha or beta, devs will continue to release :poop:. if memory serves one of the Fdev twitch feads said there would be no beta, what we have is close enough to we envisioned. we will patch the game going forward until its working or words to that effect

then we had DB grovelling saying he sorry blah de blah.. people have been lapping it up, pilling on the praise as if its normal and acceptable

next weekend will be one month since this :poop: went from Alpha to to live without beta and ive not been able to play despite fDev saying the Odyssey spec would remain the same as ED:H.. 🤬 during alpha i was getting around 40 ish fps on running round that station not too bad.. didnt realy have much time to test beyond that what with work. now we are at release i cant even play the basic training because my fps is way bellow 30.. Fdev sold me a LTP before the game was release in 2014, t the very least the game should work even with ED:O on a PC which met the requirements in 2014 now Fdev have well an truly shafted myself and many others by releasing an update which is basicaly unplayable without spending well over £1000 for a GPU.. anybody heard of the global silicon\semiconductor shortage.. not forgetting the virtual currency craze

stop complaining, they gave away Horizons not to long ago without paying for the expansion.. i want my money back especialy after this 🤬 :poop: 🤬 with ED:O

elite "dangerous" dosent mean the universe is a dangerous place to fly without insurance, it means its a dangerous world to trust software developers..
but hey at least ED is actually playable unlike the biggest grossing cash cow in history "Star Citizen" which is still raking in cash despite still not even being released.. latest release date for that cash cow will be 2015 and iirc that stated funding way before ED even started funding on kickstart

I sympathize with your situation.

Frankly, if you want to have more impact, I suggest writing a detailed and honest review of your experience on Steam. Financial Analysts and future investors probably look at Steam reviews in order to gauge customer satisfaction and perhaps as an indication of whether to invest in Frontier.

Frontier Developments will not change without significant negative financial impetus. They have listened to us only as it pleases them.

I somtimes get a blistering 15fps in the odd this is almost as fast as my ZX spectrum running elite;)
the OP is lying btw, he is a beta tester he's just in denial like many others...………….
